Join us! The Sonoran Plein Air Painters (SPAP) is a 501(c)(7) non-profit, tax-exempt corporation dedicated to advancing and developing the art of painting en plein air - in the open air or outdoors.
You have a place in our community! SPAP is a membership organization open to artists of all experience levels and mediums. Our organization is committed to providing opportunities for educational, creative and cultural benefits, encouraging fellowship and mutual support.
Associate Membership is open to all artists at all experience levels who are interested in preserving and promoting the tradition of painting en plein air. The annual membership fee is $40 and renews on the anniversary date. Visit our Renewal Page here.
Associate Members have the opportunity to contribute by attending PaintOuts, participating in All-Member Shows, attending workshops and demonstrations, and be listed in the membership directory.
Associate Members may petition the Board for an immediate upgrade to become an Artist Member, based on their level of artistic achievement. Visit the Membership Upgrades page
